I purchased the PRO version and now I have a problem.
It seems I need to resize about 265 images in order to fit them into your slide plugin, which makes me very unhappy.
The fact is: in settings I can not leave both width and heigth empty: no image will display. When I set either one, each image has to have exactly that dimension, and I mean exactly. 199 is not 200! Most logo’s are not square; I have them in all shapes and sizes which means I have to run them one by one through an image manipulation application to set canvas and image size, because no bulk resizing will do that for me. And that is a real pain in the ass!
Unless you have a solution for bulk fitting all odd sizes into one usable canvas, I will need a refund, because I thought I paid for a slider app for logo’s and they are per default not ONE size!
Thanks for your mail.
It’s good idea to add bulk image resize option but right now this feature is not available & I never mentioned that bulk resize feature available. Hope to add this in future version.
At Pro version of GS Logo slider, Logo height & width set to 200px at Logo Settings > Style Settings (3rd tab).
Also, you can set different Logo height & width.
All logos height & width MUST be same as set at settings.
For different width logo you can delete the width values (200) & keep it blank.
If you set value, please resize your logos larger than 200px or larger than which you set, then reupload logos from computer, NOT from media.
Hope this will solve your problem.
You just confirm the findings I mentioned in my comment. One has to set at least one value for either height or width and all images have to be exactly that (one)size.
You gave me the default answer, which I already found in numerous other comments. Very disappointing.
It leaves me with a huge stack of images that have to be manually resized before I can use them in your plugin. I had expected the pro version to be more flexible.
I am now testing another plugin that does have an automatic resizing option and disabled yours.
You don’t seem to respond to refund claims?
