Two issues: I\’m trying to create a similar effect as the demo 2 (circles with pictures, social media buttons in the hover). For some reason, the graphics aren\’t showing. I\’ve resized them down pretty small (200X200) thinking it was a loading issue. When I try to preview the member page, it gives me a 404 error. There is an additional section of the link that is not a page I created; do I need to create it? Eg. the website is GreenDallas.net and the member is John Doe. The permalink shows up as: http://greendallas.net/team_members/john-doe There is no team_members page on the website (I never created one). Help. Thanks.
Okay, figured out part of it — Internet Explorer 11 apparently doesn’t like to play nice. Firefox and the photos showed. Darndest thing.
You have a fix coming for that?
still can’t figure out the permalink thing.
Thanks for purchase my plugin.
For Team demo like 2 you can add shortcode [gs_team theme=”gs_tm_theme2″]
And recommended image size – 400px X 400px for perfect view of various devices.
team_members is Team posttype’s slug.
You can send screenshot at samdani1997 [at] gmail.com
What do I do with the posttype slug? When I click it, I get a 404 error because there is no such page on the site. Thanks.
Please go to settings > Permalinks
Select any other settings like Day and name / Numeric & Save Changes
Again back to your preferred Permalinks & Save Changes
Now you’ll not get 404 error & at domain/team_members/ will display Team Members Archive like http://www.team.gsamdani.com/team_members/
No need to create page like team_members
