I have created a page called “Portfolio” (slug is /portfolio) which has some text information and the shortcode to embed a GS Portfolio gallery. It seems that the plugin is overriding the page I created (site.com/portfolio) with it’s own page.
How do I stop GS Portfolio from sending my visitors to an alternate page? I can’t find any setting to stop this override.
Hi Crimson, Many many thanks for find out such a nice problem & great news is that I’ve fixed it 🙂
It’s need to change little to code, so that your page url will be same same like – site.com/portfolio & GS Portfolio plugin’s archive page will be site.com/portfolios.
Please email me at samdani1997 (at) gmail.com or add me at skype – samdani1997
So that I can send you customized plugin 🙂
if you can edit code then go to plugin > includes > gs-portfolio-cpt.php … <br>here at line number around 37 … <br>add – 'has_archive' => 'portfolios',<br>currently set here true, just change true to portfolios
